Discover how to turn your collage papers into beautiful gift tags and a mini book! Do you have a stash of gelli printed papers which you don't know what to do with? Come and join me for a wonderful day of collage to show you how to create some beautiful backgrounds using torn papers, paint and found text along with all sorts of other techniques. Suitable for all levels of experience, firstly let me talk you through step by step, how to make a fabulous background sheet which we will use to make a variety of items. Learn how to use your left over gelli prints, along with paint, stencils, scraps of fabric and more to build up some interesting decoration. Next we'll cut our "master sheet" into smaller pieces, to make some stunning and unusual gift tags and book marks. We'll also make a small book or "zine", using a special technique to fold and cut a larger sheet. It even has a pocket to keep your book mark in! You can then further decorate your piece using materials such as posca pens and fine liners, stamping and stencilling and add in some fabric decorations. Once you know how, these are such lovely and relaxing items to make and the results are stunning! All materials provided (although you may want to bring your own stash of gelli prints to use up), plus tea, coffee and biscuits.
