About Storrington and the local area

Most of my textile art and embroidery workshops take place in my garden studio in Storrington, or in venues around West Sussex. Storrington is an attractive, historic village near to both Worthing and Horsham and gateway to the Southdowns National Park. It was recently named UK’s first European stork village, as the Saxons knew Storrington as Estorchestone, the “abode of the storks”, which have been successfully reintroduced in the nearby Knepp Rewilding Project.

Storrington is a great place to spend an hour or two looking round the local shops including Stitch of Storrington, the Sussex Yarn Collection, the Scribbling Shop and the wonderful Stable Antiques
Where to Stay?
There are plenty of Airbnb options for a stay in Storrington. Or why not stay in the nearby picturesque village of Arundel, with it's castle, antique shops, cafe and restaurants?
