Course Details

Needle Felted Flowers Join me in the studio to learn the relaxing and very satisfying technique of needle felting, with this great project suitable for beginners, or those with more experience. Use upcycled jumpers and beautiful soft merino wool to needle felt these gorgeous woolly flowers and leaves. We will look at techniques of adding colour and shape to a background, by using needle felting to add in wool by piercing the surface and allowing the strands to attach themselves to the background. Once all the leaves and petals have been made, we'll hand stitch them together and make some lovely flowers. Perfect as a statement brooch for a winter jumper or coat, or to pin onto a bag. They'd make great presents - or maybe just a present for yourself!

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
