Needle Felted Flowers Join me in the studio to learn the relaxing and very satisfying technique of needle felting, with this great project suitable for beginners, or those with more experience. Select from a range of gorgeous coloured merino wool, to create these beautiful soft, woolly flowers and leaves. These fibres really are so lovely and enjoyable to use! Using upcycled jumpers along with a whole range of different merino wools, I'll show you how to needle felt the fibres together to create individual shapes and add in different colours. Discover how you can use needle felting to add in wool by piercing the surface and allowing the strands to attach themselves to the background. We will look at techniques of adding colour and shade to build up the different elements, as we create our flowers. Once all the leaves and petals have been made, we'll hand stitch them together and make some lovely flowers. Perfect as a statement brooch for a jumper or coat, or to pin onto a bag. They'd make great presents - or maybe just a present for yourself!
