Join me on this creative workshop for a relaxing day of needle felting and hand embroidery! Learn how to use stencils to needle felt directly into fabric, to make a range of beautiful Autumn leaf shapes. Take inspiration from the colours and shapes of real Autumn leaves, as we select colours and textures from gorgeous merino wool and build up layers to blend colours together. Using needle felting to bind the wool to create soft, background shapes, the possibilities for colour and pattern are endless. Once the felted shapes have been made, stitch into the samples using hand embroidery to depict the veins and marking. I will show you a range of techniques and stitches to enhance and embellish your felted leaves. Expect to make several leaves, which could make a lovely little picture, or could be used for card making or any number of creative projects. All materials provided, plus tea, coffee and biscuits.

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
