Course Details
Suitable for those with some experience of machine embroidery, join me for a fun workshop to create some unique Christmas cards. Learn how to cut out shapes from felt and build them up into different designs, using free motion stitching to create some unusual appliquéd pieces. You will make a number of small designs, experimenting with a range of different shapes and motifs, which we'll piece together to build up some lovely little compositions. Let me talk you through, step by step, how to create each one or feel free to bring your own ideas and experiment! Next we'll add on some additional embellishments using beads, sequins and fabric paint to create a real "wow!" factor. You'll make several beautiful cards and will leave with plenty of ideas to carry on creating! All materials included, plus tea, coffee and refreshments. Please note you will need to bring your own sewing machine, with embroidery foot attached and some threads to use.

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
