Join me to learn the secrets of making my unique, best selling brooches! Suitable for those with some experience of machine embroidery, these combine a little bit of everything, to make a really unique and beautiful small piece. We will begin by making a background of painted bondaweb, which we will foil to give it that bit of extra "bling"! Next, choose your brooch design and machine embroider, before completing with beads and other embellishments. These really are so fun to make and can be created in any number of designs, either using my tried and tested templates, or ideas of your own. Perfect as a gorgeous gift, they would also be suitable for use as Christmas decorations or keyrings etc and we will have time to make several different designs. All the materials for the brooches will be provided, but you will need to bring your own sewing machine with embroidery foot and a small selection of threads.
Terms and Conditions
The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
