Course Details
Come and join me for a relaxing morning of fun and experimental hand embroidery in the inspirational setting of Denmans Gardens, Fontwell. Suitable for complete beginners, or those with some experience, come and learn a range of variations on simple hand embroidery stitches, to create a beautiful small sample piece. Be inspired by the colours and shapes of garden flowers and then go to town with colour and embellishment to create your own "fantasy" versions! Learn how to create a range of floral shapes using chain stitch, running stitch, blanket stitch or the trusty French knot! Let me show you how to integrate felt pieces, or embellish with beads to make a really colourful and decorative piece. Why not enjoy a relaxing and creative morning of hand stitching and then treat yourself to lunch in the cafe and a look around the gardens? Price includes all materials.
Terms and Conditions
The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
