Print and Stick a Decoupage Box

Course Details

We will begin the day by experimenting with different techniques for colouring, marking, and stamping onto paper, to make gorgeous backgrounds to decorate your box. A range of unusual vintage papers, such as sheet music or old maps and books will be provided for you to experiment with and we will look at different ways of stamping and marking paper to create your own unique designs. Next, we will be cutting, tearing and sticking to decorate a small keepsake box; this could be used as a present, to store jewellery or just as a beautiful decorative object. Add to the box with further embellishments such as using gold leaf, or found objects like small buttons, fabric flowers or other decorations. Join me for this absorbing, relaxing day and leave with a finished box and a stash of decorated papers for use in further projects. Price includes box and all materials.

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
