New Date! Eco Printing on Fabric

Course Details

Come and have a fabulous morning experimenting with the wonderful practice of eco printing leaves onto fabric. Science meets art in this workshop, with a bit of magic thrown in! Select and place real leaves onto your fabric and then transfer them directly to make beautiful botanical prints by steaming and using different types of mordant. It's one of my all time favourite techniques and the results are stunning. Create a range of samples which can be used for further embellishment or embroidery, or kept simply as beautiful samples in their own right. Note: some materials will be supplied, but you will need to bring some additional small pieces of natural fabric to print on and some leaves from your local neighbourhood!

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
