Course Details
Suitable for those with some experience of machine embroidery, learn how to make these beautiful butterfly and moth motifs using dissolvable fabric. I will show you how to easily transfer a design and add trapped materials and stitching to create these gorgeous pieces. They look complicated, but with my guidance, learn how simple this technique really is! Use as an embellishment, as a window hanging or as the basis for a whole new artwork. Warning: making moths and butterflies is addictive! You will need to bring along your own sewing machine with embroidery foot attached and a selection of threads, but all fabric is included, plus tea coffee and biscuits.

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
