Course Details
Be introduced to the fabulous technique of wet felting on this fun and and colourful workshop! First build up a background of beautiful colours using soft merino wool. There's nothing nicer than selecting and placing these wonderful soft colours and arranging them in layers to be felted together! Once the wool has been arranged, we then use the traditional technique of wetting and rolling to bind the fibres together, creating a thick, dense felt which is perfect to stitch into. Create a stunning piece that could be an abstract design, or perhaps a garden or landscape scene. Felt creates the most beautiful backgrounds and is perfect as the basis for further embroidery, or perhaps to make a small item such as a lovely purse or small bag. Felting is such good fun and the results are always so pleasing! Suitable for complete beginners, or those with some experience, join me for some relaxed and fun creativity. All materials are included, with a range of wonderful colours to choose from. Plus tea, coffee and refreshments in a small and friendly group.
