Gelli Printing with Autumn Leaves

Course Details

Join me for a "stash busting" morning of printing with leaves and found textures onto both fabric and paper. We'll be using a gelli plate to try out all sorts of different printing techniques, and you'll be able to experiment with some unusual and gorgeous effects. Using leaves from our local environment, combined with beautiful textures from my stash of interesting household surfaces, we will build up layers of print onto fabric and paper. You'll come away with a whole selection of different samples for use as an interesting background for embroidery, or as part of a fabric collage, or for use in card making. Note: Most materials will be supplied, but you might want to bring some additional small pieces of fabric to print on and some leaves from your local neighbourhood!

The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
