Course Details
Discover the wonderful world of dissolvable fabric, with this five week "taster" course, giving you a comprehensive introduction into what you can do with this fantastic material. Suitable for those with basic experience of machine embroidery, we will experiment with a range of unique, interesting and achievable projects, including: - how to trap fabrics and materials with stitch to make interesting backgrounds - making dissolvable bowls - faux lace and ribbons - making a dissolvable abstract landscape - making moths and butterflies Take your creations into a whole new level by exploring the fantastic potential of this amazing material! The course will be taught in a small, friendly group (maximum five students) with lots of one to one help and advice. You will need to bring along your own sewing machine with embroidery foot and a selection of threads, but all materials are included.
Terms and Conditions
The full fee must be made upon booking to secure your place. If you are unable to attend the workshop and it’s more than 3 weeks in advance of the start date, then I will send a refund to the original payment source. If cancellation is within 3 weeks of your workshop, I am unable to offer a refund unless I can fill your space, or the course is cancelled. Refreshments will be provided free of charge (tea, coffee and biscuits). Most materials are usually provided free of charge (unless otherwise stated), but any additional requirements will emailed to you in advance of the course.
